Every building tells a story, not just through its structure, but in the way materials shape how people move, meet, and feel inside it. At 10 Macquarie Street, Parramatta, our contracting division was engaged to bring this story to life through tiling that balances elegance, durability, and detail. Working with Charter Hall, WMK Architecture, and Buildcorp (Fit Out & Refurbishment), we delivered tiling across both public and private spaces, creating surfaces that are as refined as they are resilient.

A Lobby That Sets the Tone
The Ground Floor Lobby sets the stage for the entire building. Here, limestone floor tiles and wall cladding bring a calm permanence, grounding the flow of natural light that fills the atrium. The veining of the limestone adds movement and warmth, softening what could otherwise be a purely corporate threshold. For the adjoining café, we selected durable yet understated floor tiles designed to withstand heavy daily footfall without sacrificing design integrity.
Level 20 - Elevated Everyday Spaces
Amenities on Level 20 were designed with the same consideration as front-of-house. Wall and floor tiles, paired with a striking feature wall, give these spaces a polished, contemporary feel while ensuring practicality and ease of maintenance. These surfaces aren’t just functional, they transform everyday routines into moments of quiet refinement, proving that even high-use areas can carry a sense of design intent.
Behind every seamless surface is the work of skilled hands. Our contracting team focused on precision, from grout alignment to transitions between materials, ensuring that every detail reinforced the architect’s vision. It’s this attention to execution that turns specification into reality, elevating the finished result from functional to enduring.

Building for Today, Grounded for Tomorrow
10 Macquarie Street reflects Parramatta’s role as a growing commercial and cultural hub. Through thoughtful design and collaboration, the building balances modern function with materials that will endure. For us, it was a project that showcased what BetterTiles does best: working with architects, builders, and clients to create spaces where surfaces don’t just support design, they define it.
At BetterTiles, every project is an opportunity to craft something lasting. At 10 Macquarie Street, that legacy is written in stone.
